"The original cluster of artists warehouses in Downtown Houston annual open studios Artcrawl Houston 2009

This year we have over one hundred eighty artists and art organizations involved!

Since 1992, the tradition of the artists "open studios" takes place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Visitors have the opportunity to pARTicipate in the live/work/show spaces of these neighborhood"urban pioneers". The mission of the ARTCRAWL is to assists the public in understanding contemporary art by directly involving the visitors in a dialogue with local artists in the Artist Warehouse District of Downtown Houston."

Here's the thing about Discovery Green--if you want to have like a party of more than 15 people, they request that you reserve an area.

Well, I don't really have any intentions of doing that mostly because the cost is rather high and especially on a saturday.

So--
there will be NO SIGNS leading up to the event.

There may or may not also be tables available because it will be a saturday.
So-- we'll be picnic styling it

There are a lot of really neat things to see here so you'll totally be encouraged to explore and enjoy at your leisure while we hold down a base camp so to speak.
